Having departed in a dense gray void, and gone all night backwards-through a day I never had-darkness in Iceland is followed by staggering loneliness...but dawn comes. As we approach Paris, the city of my hopes, the sky was a nest of blushing pink and coral clouds. Softly fluffed and ruffled below the aluminum wings. All around me passengers slept, I crept to a portal-shedding not a few tears of relief I realized that if Paris could greet me with comforting coral clouds when Seattle spat me out in gray cold calousness, perhaps despite my anguish over leaving my love behind(in order that he could chase me here later...tres romantique!) Paris would indeed offer us la vie en rose we deserved. In short, for now, I feel...welcomed.
